Principal Use
CS-7100 is used to aid the removal of soil and other surface contaminants
on fresh produce as part of the postharvest washing process. It is sprayed
or dripped onto produce in the brush washer. CS-7100 can be used alone
or in conjunction with Selectrocide chlorine dioxide as part of the
washing process.
Composition
CS-7100 is comprised of FDA GRAS compounds approved for use in produce
washing. These components are also approved by EPA (40CFR180.910) for
use with EPA registered products such as Selectrocide biocide.
Directions
Dilute product with water according to specific application requirements.
Typical use rates range from 1 part CS-7100 to 20 parts water to 1:40.
Drip or spray onto brushes and allow fruit to fully rotate several times
in brush washer applications to ensure adequate coverage.
